A friend is upset?

You don’t know what to do?

This is just a little cute thing I really need to show you.

On a weekend my sister and I were going for a drive and we went to that shop for decorations when I found the best present to give to someone who’s upset or not having a good time.

It’s 30 plastic pills (for 1 month). Note: Don’t eat it. Each of them contains a little quote, rolled up and hold together with tiny golden rings. How cute is that!? And I seriously have to compliment this, because the quotes are really good and they are written down with backgroung information and year (which is nice, because that gives the reader a more stable feeling about the truth in these sayings). It’s made with a lot of detail and I’m sure it will bring someone to smile, even if he / she doesn’ want to. Who doesn’t have those moments? 😀

This is better than actual drugs (not that I could tell…).

I dare to say that this is by far the best piece of clothing that the humans ever invented. It started  in the 13th century and the design idea didn’t change a bit, obviously because it was perfect from the beginning. The beautiful curves and the long or short legs – whatever the preference is- brings everyone to melt.

THE SOCK.

When you want to put shoes on and don’t want them to rub your feet, the sensitive body part with the most nerv-ends, who’s there for you?

Socks. Soft socks.

When you feel motivated and want to do some activity, who provides you comfort in spite of the sweat?

Socks. Sport socks.

When you feel cold and lonely in your bed, who spends you warmth?

Socks. Bedsocks.

When you get sick of the boring school uniform, who will make your day?

That’s right.

Socks. Fancy socks.

These arguments were enough to convince my mom that I really need new socks and that it’s important to get some good ones that I feel comfy in. And how life sometimes is, there was this website that I accidentally found as I was looking for new socks with her. However, here’s my haul.

Dear Walter,

As much as your last words remain a mystery, these words above will stay the truth. There will always be something to discover so there will always be curiosity. Sometimes I wake up thinking about how this day will end, because it happens that my days end completely different to what I thought it would be. And I guess it’s not just me. I would like to ask my readers

Do you see yourself suddenly seeing an old friend tonight?

Do you see yourself going to a concert today?

Do you see yourself doing a maccas run in a brand new car?

Probably not. But can you exclude it? Completely? Probably not. You could win a new car, decide to celebrate it with a maccas run and suddenly meeting that old friend that has a spare ticket for this concert. I don’t say go and spend all your money on gamblings to win a car. Go out, try new things and life will lead you to new paths that you didn’t even know they would exist this morning.

Did you know what Mortimer would mean to the world one day? YES, it is true. When we expect too much, there is a high chance to get disappointed, but isn’t life even more disappointing when we don’t try? I love trying new things and as I sat in my room, reading the frankie magazine, it brought me the idea of starting a blog. There are so many awesome ideas in this world that I want to share and I know there is going to be even more of them. I didn’t know this morning that I would sit here tonight and create a blog.
