The first thing to feel better about yourself is to accept and realize that everyone struggles with confidence. No exceptions.

In which situations do you struggle with your confidence?

This post will give you some helpful tips how to boost your confidence!

Appear confident. Try to not hide behind your hair, beanies or make-up. People will automatically be calmer around you if you seem confident, so wear clothes that you personally like and feel good in (including underwear – this is no joke, it helps!). Also, practice a good body posture and look into peoples eyes when you talk to them – don’t be afraid of eye contact! Trust me, everyone has   problems with keeping up their eye contact.

Be aware of yourself. Take the time and write down your good qualities and accomplishments (You way want to add a things-that-I-love list as well). Have you ever asked yourself how you are? There’s no one in the world who you could give a more honest answer than yourself! If you don’t feel good and cannot do anything about it, the best way to feel better is to accept it. You are allowed to feel sad sometimes. Stop over-apologizing to people – one real apology is the better way to go.

Accept and give compliments. Both will make you feel good about yourself, don’t be afraid of it. Accepting compliments is sometimes even harder than giving them.

Be a little healthy. Finding a sport that you like and eating good food will increase your confidence from the inside and can also be seen from the outside. If you are a lazy person and can’t be bothered to cut veggies or get up from the couch – visit Pinterest! I promise you will find a lot of inspiration and ideas, if you are the lazy or the energized one.

Smile. It will automatically make you feel better and people will want to be around you. Also, don’t forget to brush your teeth – in deed this is an important step to feel more confident.
